So what happened to them after their reality show? It only aired for eight episodes so it’s safe to assume it was never meant to be that era’s Keeping Up With The Kardashians, but it is sort of strange that these two girls that have been in the spotlight since a very young age suddenly fell off the grid. While they never officially commented on it, it does seem like it was a deliberate choice on their part to stop being a part of media or showbiz. The reality show ended with them preparing for their first post-college job, so it seems like they completely gave up on fame and just started building a normal life for themselves. They haven’t even updated their Instagram in almost a decade!
As for what they are doing now, it’s pretty impressive. They’ve both – well, obviously – started a career in teaching and are currently teaching elementary school in Minnesota. And before you ask: yes, they only get one salary for essentially both doing the job. They both got their teachers degree and aren’t angry about only getting one salary at all. They knew from the start that they were only doing the job of one person so it made sense to them that they’d only get paid for that. As they get older and better at their jobs however, they’re certainly thinking of negotiating a bit so maybe their two methods and two degrees will start to give them more leverage to get paid more.
